Livecoding some TidalCycles tomorrow @ the local synth shop

all the projects that wanted to solve piracy by putting hash and credits of a song into a blockchain

Today at it was really awesome to hear some historical pieces like
All Pierre Schaeffer's Quatre études de bruit and Laurie Spiegel, but particularly I was very intrigued by:
* Beatriz Ferreyra: Echos (1978!)
* Elsa Justel: Cercles et Surfaces (2013)
* Martina Clausen: Cri-Schwebungen II (2018)
* Rocio Cano Valiño: Astérion (2018)
* Thomas Gorbach: Shots & Curls (2018/19)

These are all amazing / compositions. Very special stuff.

Is there a current radio hit that is actually a remake of "Informer" by Snow?

Everybody are complimenting me on my tights.

Today I heard (among other things) part of Laurie Spiegel's The Expanding
Universe: Kepler's Harmonies of
the worlds (1977) in a live "tape music" public listening setting.

She was one of the first computer music composers.

The whole album is also on Bandcamp.

The trip started with delayed train from Belgrade and connection in Villach falling through (is this Balkan looseness vs Austrian/German punctuality stereotype?) . Now waiting, which is fine, but the apartment-lady has no time to check me in later in the afternoon.

#GMail is harmful to e-mail ecosystem; its antispam blocking policy matches too many valid messages as spam.

It blocked LastPass email leak warning email, because it contained "a link" to a leaked site.

It blocked an e-mail from goverment agency addressed directly to me.

It discriminates all non-gmail servers, and it's pretty much impossible to own a private SMTP server these days, because GMail will classify everything as spam.

It's not how e-mail should work.

Consider dropping GMail.
