a longer recording of slowly shifting feedback tones on the maple box. supercollider + arc + nanokontrol experimenting (tuned with those controllers but left running unattended). recorded while doing dishes in the next room over (which is audible in the beginning).
about a third of what I had written out in my sketch to do today. let's hope I can get to iterating more quickly in supercollider.
#patchnotes: spectral compression into 4 bandpass filters on each stereo side with slowly modulated frequencies (root & relation) and amplitude (tilt).
very simple and really an exercise in implementing a familiar idea in an unfamiliar environment, but the out of sync LFOs driving the modulation led to some interesting emergent territory.
anyway, I'm hoping it'll be nice for someone to put on while they do dishes or something.
